The objective of the Skin Care Program is to train the student in the skills necessary to meet the acceptable performance of a new employee in a beauty salon or skin care salon after registration with the state.
This is a basic to advanced program that introduces students to the fundamentals of skincare, correct use of facial equipment, corrective facials, anti-aging modalities, and study of related anatomy. Many people are visual learners; Most learn best hands-on. Yet many schools—even beauty schools—teach mostly out of books. Not us! Our unique multifaceted method gets students up and out of their chairs and working hands-on.
We use a wealth of interactive, multimedia, video, and live demos and master educator/stylist and lectures to address the full range of learning abilities. Because of this, our students will learn more, and have fun while learning.
This program provides training in skin treatments teaching students the skin analysis and facial techniques to maintain the skin health with the proper cleansing methods, massage, and the use of machines for deep cleansing.
Microneedling is a form of Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) which creates a controlled non-thermal injury underneath the skin surface, inducing the body to respond through the formation of new tissue layers of elastin and collagen fibers.
