This 25-week certificate gives you the skills needed for employment in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
Mechanical engineers design and build machines and other products, such as robots, spacecraft, automobiles, artificial limbs, amusement park rides, elevators, and manufacturing equipment.
This course is designed to prepare individuals in the trade who have not yet written, or have not yet passed, the residential air conditioning system mechanic exam in Ontario.
Graduates can progress to refrigeration and airconditioning mechanic apprenticeship, using credit toward their journeyperson (Red Seal) certification.
