Progression
Students can progress to an IT & Computing Apprenticeship with Apprenticeships at Salford City College. Alternatively, students can progress to study an undergraduate course at a university of their choice or progress to employment.
Entry Requirements
Level 1 Vocational Courses: Students are required to have 4 GCSEs at grade 1-9.Level 2 Vocational Courses: Students are required to have 4 GCSEs at grade 3-9.Level 3 Vocational Courses:
Students are required to have 5 GCSEs at grade 4-9, this must include either English Language or Maths.Additional Information: We will consider 1 Vocational qualification in place of a GCSE as long as a grade 4 is achieved in English Language.

Our software development course will teach you to design and develop a range of programs. You will learn Java as your core coding language and key soft skills such as project management, databases, case diagrams and essential office skills.

This course provides the knowledge and skills to design and implement DevOps processes and practices. Students will learn how to plan for DevOps, use source control, scale Git for an enterprise, consolidate artefacts, design a dependency management strategy
