The purpose of this programme is to upskill attendees with sound theoretical knowledge in the areas of solar electric harvesting, remote monitoring (a division of Internet of Things and Entrepreneurship).
The creation of this SLP was inspired by a community engagement activity for an international collaborative project between Tshwane University of Technology (SA), Eco-V (SA) and Coventry University (UK). Furthermore, the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering in collaboration with the Technology Station in Electronics (TSE) has identified a gap in theoretical comprehension of renewable energy technology, especially solar technology.
