The expectation is that students have current training/experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) or Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM). Students should also be familiar with technical drawing.

This course covers the fundamentals of parametric 3D part design, assembly design, and part and assembly drawing using SolidWorks.
This course teaches students how to use SolidWorks in all their modelling projects. It teaches students the three main sections of the software (Part, Assembly, and Drawing) where it gives students the power for designing, assembling, and drafting 3D models.
