The solidworks modeling environment enables students to develop 3d models and to explore digital (paperless) mechanical design environments including building solid models of their design ideas, creating assemblies, and fully bi-directional associative detailed drawings. Students will complete a mini project using solidworks features. 

At the end of this course, students will complete a mini project and will give a project presentation. 

Earning a solidworks certification can help you get a job, keep a job. Therefore students are encouraged to take and pass a soliworks certificate exam in order to be more competitive in the job market.
