The Dance Place was founded in 2019 by Emma Hayes-Hudson, Emmanuelle Grizot and Sun Yining. TDP aims to make dance accessible to everyone.
At TDP, we understand the importance of involving different training methods, adapting to each student’s level and development needs; allowing them to become the best dancer they can be in a hard-working and positive environment.
The Dance Place at Forum, Orchard Road is a dance school in Singapore. We offer dance classes for kids and adults in Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Flexibility & Movement, Floor Barre, Hip Hop, Jazz Dance, K-Pop, Musical Theatre, Performance Skills, Song & Dance, Street Dance and Tap. We also offer adult dance fitness and exercise classes in Bollywood Dance Fitness, Pilates Stretch & Tone and Yoga.
TDP class levels are advised by age, as well as ability and experience. We will always arrange a complimentary Trial Class beforehand to make sure that each student is placed in the correct class and level. TDP Elite Performance classes are by invitation only. Students in these classes are expected to attend a certain number of classes per week and also hold a level of commitment to the classes and performances.
This is a foundation for young children who are keen to grow in dance in the future. It focuses on the genre of Jazz, a fast, rhythmic and energetic dance built upon the basics of ballet.

Mac's Music School by invitation only, Chamber Orchestra program comprises of selected students whom loves music, are committed to making music and above all shares their joy of music making.
In this class, we will explore some of the kids' favourite show and dive into the magical world of showbiz while learning some of the “triple threat” skills of acting, singing, while explore some of the kids favourite shows.
To cultivate interest in music, teach basic musical concepts, identify instrumental sounds namely piano, violin and percussion, develop sense of rhythm and pitch.
