In 2017, #hubbynoinstagram aka José and I (who you will probably meet at the Studio!) started thinking about this project, called Vituperio – which was going to be a non traditional bakery experience.
Our goal – to share this love for bread with you, and to help everyone learn what made from scratch bread is all about in a very professional but welcoming and hands-on experience.
It was so hard to find a quality baking class outside the formal culinary schools – and that was part of out inspiration!
​Our goal is to have a professional teaching in a fun and a hands-on approach to baking, it’s about letting go of all preconceptions about this amazing and nutritious food so that we can bring together this old craft back to life!
Students will learn how to make a yeast dough from scratch. They will then cut out, fry, glaze and decorate your delicious creations!
The lesson builds the knowledge of the function of ingredients from the benchtop and puts it to work on the production floor.
Ciabatta is a go-to hearth bread when baking at home. It's easy to get a near-artisan bakery result in your own oven with just a few simple techniques.
Join us for an evening of classic Italian bread and dessert. Â Delicious focaccia is a flat-leavened oven- baked bread that can be a side-dish, a sandwich bread, or could simply be a meal for the bread lover.
In this 3 month workshop, our students will learn everything that they need to know about bread! You will learn about decorative breads, sweet breads, baguettes, Italian breads, basic baking techniques and more!
