In 2017, #hubbynoinstagram aka José and I (who you will probably meet at the Studio!) started thinking about this project, called Vituperio – which was going to be a non traditional bakery experience.
Our goal – to share this love for bread with you, and to help everyone learn what made from scratch bread is all about in a very professional but welcoming and hands-on experience.
It was so hard to find a quality baking class outside the formal culinary schools – and that was part of out inspiration!
​Our goal is to have a professional teaching in a fun and a hands-on approach to baking, it’s about letting go of all preconceptions about this amazing and nutritious food so that we can bring together this old craft back to life!
Prepare to impress the family with your newfound baking skills! Learn to make these beautiful breads, how to braid, and how to bake with altitude.
You will make a versatile brioche dough which will be used to make burger buns and cinnamon rolls, paired with sweet or savory cream cheese frosting. Ages 11+, students under the age of 16 must attend the class with an adult ALSO registered in the class. This is a 3 hour class.
In this class Rosalie will dive into the similarities and differences between Western and Asian baking while sharing some of her favorite techniques and recipes.
Join Chef Doug and learn to make this unique ethnic dish! Students will learn to create the dough and filling for delicious bao buns (pork steamed buns). Student will learn techniques for assembling and cooking this delicious dish! Class is for adults 18 years and up. Students 21 and over can BYOB.
Parathas are a flaky South Asian flatbread that are delicious as an accompaniment with a main dish or can be a wonderful base for creative fillings. During this class, you’ll learn how to knead, roll, and cook these flatbreads and then prepare fillings for a delicious lunch or dinner.Â
