Learning the art of making sour dough bread – Sourdough bread is made by the fermentation of dough using naturally occurring lactobacilli and yeast. The lactic acid produced by the lactobacilli gives it a more sour taste and improved keeping qualities.
Come along to join our Irish bread class to learn delicious yet simple Irish Breads. At Belfast Cookery School we like to keep it local! From Scratch learn to mix, knead and bake 3 classic Irish Breads
This class is ideal for anyone who doesn't have any prior knowledge of sourdough baking, or does and wants to learn more detail about how to make amazing sourdough bread in their own home kitchen.
Here at Cooking It, we love anything that goes in the oven and is sweet. Our ovens are on all the time, whether they are baking bread, cookies, pastry, puddings or cakes, we just love it. The Baking Classes are fabulous fun, especially if you come with a friend or two!
