The Coexist Community Kitchen is a non-profit cookery school in Easton, Bristol. Our main aim is to use food as a vehicle to work with people who experience social marginalisation in our society.
We believe that everyone should be able to have spaces in which they can share food together, learn and teach skills and create strong connections with others.
We will begin with our sourdough starter. You will learn how to make it from scratch, how to maintain it and also keep alive! We will then bake delicious loaves and a fougasse (a pretty looking bread from south of France).
At Greenwich Pantry, we believe everyone can learn bread-making skills. To achieve this, beginners and enthusiasts are taught techniques to make bread with good quality flour. Advanced learners can check out bespoke classes run by industry professionals.
