The Coexist Community Kitchen is a non-profit cookery school in Easton, Bristol. Our main aim is to use food as a vehicle to work with people who experience social marginalisation in our society.
We believe that everyone should be able to have spaces in which they can share food together, learn and teach skills and create strong connections with others.
The working bakery, where the classes will take place, is fully equipped and has a range of professional bread ovens.

The five hour workshop includes demonstrations, instructions and guidance on how to make, shape and bake a selection of British breads.
Our intensive two day masterclass will take you through the complex processes involved in perfecting sourdough and other artisan breads; from keeping your starter alive to complex fermentations techniques.
Bread in some form has existed in almost every culture since we were able to create fire. With the correct knowledge and recipes, bread-making is a wonderfully rewarding past-time.
