Course ends each week with a song to recap learning, enhance pronunciation and aid understanding, all the while offering some new vocabulary in a fun way!

In the beginners Spanish A1 language courses you will learn to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
The Simple Spanish course has been designed to teach students a wide variety of language skills including vocabulary, the present, past and future tenses and skills to maintain a natural conversation in Spanish.
We offer GROW programmes, immersion opportunities as well as the Spanish National Language Adviser who can work inside your school to help strengthen the teaching within the school. We also have close relationships with the Spanish Teachers’ Association of New Zealand.
Spanish course is offered by Palmerston North Intermediate Normal School. Our courses are taught by highly qualified and experienced teacher who are extremely dedicated to ensuring you leave with all the necessary skills to broaden your horizons and never be lost for words again.
Spanish is widely spoken around the world and an ability to speak this language proficiently is invaluable in tourism, education, the media industry and government departments. Students’ English skills and cultural awareness are improved, both of which are an asset to any future vocation.
