Welcome to the kitchen! I’m a former elementary school teacher turned chef~ after graduating from the Schoolcraft College Culinary Arts program ten years ago, I blended my love of education and cooking and The Simple Kitchen was born.

This is a fun intimate learning experience for men and women, ALL levels are welcome and NO experience needed. This one day class includes all supplies, real cakes, how to make buttercream from scratch, fresh flowers, decorating aesthetic, structuring a double barrel plus fun and networking.
In this class, you will learn how to torte, fill and ice a 4" mini vanilla cake. The mini cake will be finished in a design of your own creative choice to take home. All the tools and supplies will be provided in the class.
