Course Introduction
The word ‘stress’ is used to describe the physical and/or emotional response to the demands and pressures that modern living means we come under from time to time.
Stress can be a positive thing, which drives us on and helps us to grow, develop and be stimulated. However, when stress reaches a certain level, it can overcome a person’s ability to cope and can impact on their physical and mental health.
The focus is on the positive things that they can do to make changes in their life which will reduce the impact that “bad” stress places on them.
This live insurance webinar will be highly interactive with delegate participation and engagement throughout. There will be two 75-minute sessions with a break of approximately 30 minutes between each session.
The webinar is delivered by a Certified Online Learning Facilitator.

Describe the way that stress works
Identify the causes of stress
Identify the symptoms of stress in yourself and others
Develop personal coping strategies for reducing and managing stress on a personal basis
Enhance your personal resilience
Develop your own stress reduction plan

Stress is known as “the silent killer” and to ignore its symptoms often will lead to a breakdown and possibly a long-term absence from the workplace. The course explains how to spot stress, how to control it, and also gives many techniques on how to overcome stress and how to establish a stress...
This gives the trainee an outline of strategies of self help, in order to reduce the pressure they feel, and prevent it leading to stress. It focuses on Time management, as Time is often a great driver of pressure.
This course is for those whose role involves stressful situations or those who are responsible for colleagues who work under stress. The approaches covered during the day will benefit anyone who wants to remain calm and centred whilst effectively dealing with the stresses and strains of their job.
Stress and anxiety in one form or another account for up to 70% of the reasons clients come to see us. So it seems clients are contacting us in their quest for a healthier, stress free, happier life.
