Founded in 2022, Standard American English was created out of a fundamental desire to empower language learners around the world with the skills they need to interact with the English-speaking global community.
We teach American English through a practical, cross-curricular approach to language instruction. Simplified, comprehensive lessons teach universal American English, which does not include dialectical spelling, grammar and use differences that are common across British and Australian English.
We do not have third-party investors or outside interests, as Standard American English was launched through a fully self-funded venture.
This means students in all areas of the world can confidently learn the American English language and important cultural information without concerns about any outside interests attempting to coerce, manipulate or pressure Standard American English into meeting an arbitrary standard of profit according to theoretical shareholders. We are focused on community-building, our global family and providing unbiased instruction with integrity.
The Ideal Program uses the General English course. The General English course has 8 levels that focus on improving conversation skills. Each level takes 16 weeks to complete.
Our most intensive program includes six lessons per day, with both morning and afternoon classes (there are no afternoon classes on Friday). Special emphasis is placed on conversation skills. Rennert offers an extensive activity calendar to complement your classroom learning.
All our programs aim at developing the four skills: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. We also take into account students’ particular needs and adapt the lessons to ensure these needs are fulfilled.
This course is intended for students who aim to develop and enhance their communication skills and learn how to use English at restaurants, hotels, airports and all over the world in daily life.
The Intensive English Language Program (IELP) provides non-native English speakers with specific language skills to prepare them for entering a U.S. university or the global marketplace.
