This method is pioneered by Dr Shinichi Suzuki for teaching violin and later adapted to teaching cello, to very young children. Also known as the “Mother Tongue” method, the children learn the violin/cello through listening to good playing, imitating a good example and repeating on what they acquired – just like how a child learns his first words.
Thus the participating parent will learn how to play the violin/cello as well. This will enable him/her to become a good mentor to their children while practicing.
Through the standard Suzuki repertoire, the children will learn:
The correct posture of holding violin and the bow
Rhythm duration syllabus
Development of good tone and good intonation
Musical Expression
Note reading (supplementary material)
Ensemble playing

With numerous concerts and music camps planned for them, they will have many opportunities to be inspired and motivated.
The quality of music education that we provide at the school will make a difference in developing:
Their interest in music
Their character and social being
Their listening and understanding skill to music
Their ability to communicate through performing
Creative thinking and ability to think at a higher level
Their level of confidence and self-worth
Their love for learning music
We hold regular pre-course talks before starting new courses and parent/teacher meetings to clear the doubts of parents about teaching methods and how their children will progress.
You will learn music fundamentals like rhythmic awareness, note-reading, aural training and accurate bowing/playing postures during your violin lessons.
A violin is a musical instrument with strings square measure hitched to standardization pegs and to an appendage which passes over a bridge command in situ by the pressure of the strings.
Join our violin course, designed for participants of all ages. Master violin techniques under the tutelage of our qualified teachers, who will guide you through the technical intricacies of the violin.
As a new student or continuation of group classes, the child receives individual attention from our teachers. Teachers will work closely with the parents, sharing with them their experiences on how to help the child on their practices at home.
Rhythms conducts regular and master classes, organizes workshops, ensembles and concerts.
