The Tango as we know it began in the West Indies and found its way to Argentina where it was stylised and danced socially. It found popularity across the USA and Europe in 1921 after the silent screen star Rudolph Valentino performed a Tango in “The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse”. Since then it has gone on to be featured in many movies including "True Lies" and "Scent of a Woman".

Argentine Tango is considered the “dancer’s dance” is loved by dancers the world over, allowing them to show flare, attitude and a playfulness between two partners
