Tap is a great way to develop rhythm, agility, and co-ordination through intricate footwork. This class is excellent for developing a sense of rhythm and musicality – children have fun learning different rhythms and trying to re-create them with their feet!
Classes are focused on introducing dancers to different disciplines: Tap, Jazz, Ballet, and Baton. An Acro – Mini class can be added to compliment the dancer’s training. Students are grouped according to age, ability, and previous training.

Ankle mobility, weight placement, and glute activation are key components. Tyneal approaches Tap from a fundamental movement approach with proper conditioning and biomechanical techniques, while weaving in the history and rhythm of the steps.
An excellent dance form for the student who wishes to develop rhythm and coordination through various combinations of footwork. Tap incorporates a wide variety of dance and music styles.
