This class focuses on musicality and technique. Teachers individualize instruction for intermediate to advanced dancers as they do tap warm ups, master tap vocabulary and learn weekly combinations.
Tap Dance classes are offered by Ms Carol's Center For Dance. CCD and its Staff is dedicated to building character through dance and providing quality dance instruction at affordable prices.
If you have never tapped or are getting back into it, here’s where to start! Learn and practice the basics of tap vocabulary like shuffles, flaps, digs, timesteps in simple rhythm combinations, and “across the floor” traveling steps.
Our Tap classes teach dancers to develop musicality, rhythm, quick thinking and the ability to “hear” music. Class curriculum will include a tap warm up and move into complex progressions and rhythmic combinations
