The Dance Studio is a non-competition school that takes great pride in age and skill appropriate classes. At all ages and levels The Dance Studio is committed to offering the highest quality classes with a faculty who work to meet our students’ individual needs . . . challenge them . . . and excite them!
This class teaches tap technique for adults of all levels. Class will run mid-August through mid-May. Participants do not require specific dancewear. Oxford-style dance shoes are recommended.
Students ages 7 and up are invited to move beyond the combination class into a 45-minute tap technique class. Â This, fun, high energy class will emphasize proper tap progressions, styles, and rhythms. Â Tap students will perform one routine in the Spring Recital.
Transitional class where students age 4 to 6 learn the basics of ballet and tap in an encouraging atmosphere. Barre work, across the floor, and center choreography combinations are practiced. This is the perfect class for an older 4-year-old who has completed a few seasons of dance or a 5 or 6-year
Rhythmic tap, inclusive of buck, clog, wings, etc., based on the modern flair technique of Henry Letang. Also, group precision emphasized. Beginning age 7 years.
