Located in the Bellevue area (just west of downtown Nashville), Dance in Bloom teaches proper dance technique in a fun and upbeat environment. We stress the importance of learning fundamentals, proper form, and having fun.
We feel there is no point in dancing if it isn't fun! Our 4,000 sq ft facility hosts classes in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hop, modern, lyrical, contemporary, and acrobatics/tumbling for ages 2 and up (of all backgrounds, and abilities).
A variety of class times are offered to accommodate most family schedules. The studio is also available for rental for private instruction and/or rehearsals. Our professional instructors have a wide range of dance backgrounds and styles.
They genuinely care for the students and have the desire to pass on their love and passion for dance. In-between classes, it is not uncommon to find teachers sitting on the floor assisting students with buckling tap shoes, or chatting with them about their week.
This class enables students to develop coordination, timing, and rhythm while making music with their feet. Tap is great for improving toddler's ability to sense rhythm since the ear is such an important part of learning tap. This class is for children 2.5 years to adult
Tap Dance Classes are offered by Vam Studios for all skill level. Our mission is to inspire and empower people through dance, to reach the greatest potential possible for themselves, their community, and the world.
Beginner dancers are welcome to come in with little or no background in Tap and may range up to dancers who have Tap danced in the past and would like to revisit. This class will focus on reintroducing and fine tuning fundamental Tap steps and technique.
Tap developed in 19th Century America from a mix of Irish clogging, African and African-American movements and vaudeville. Using special shoes with metal plates, the tap dancer can create multiple sounds and rhythmic patterns with their feet
