CBD instructors have extensive training and professional experience in the dance world. CBD has five state of the art studios equipped with Marley and sprung-wood floors.
All teaching methods are geared towards injury-free training. Our instructors encourage all dancers to broaden their artistic horizons and realize their creative potential.
This class teaches tap technique for adults of all levels. Class will run mid-August through mid-May. Participants do not require specific dancewear. Oxford-style dance shoes are recommended.
This fun class will teach dancers the history of tap as well as time steps, rhythm tap, and combinations of steps and sounds. Tap is more than just making sounds with your feet. It is about expressing yourself, percussively, with your feet and body, making music, and making statements.
This course draw from both the Broadway and the contemporary Rhythm-Tap styles and begin with a foot isolating warm-up, followed by rhythm and step-based skill building in both the center of the room and moving across the floor.
Rhythmic tap, inclusive of buck, clog, wings, etc., based on the modern flair technique of Henry Letang. Also, group precision emphasized. Beginning age 7 years.
Tap Dance Classes are offered by Dance Studio 111 for all ages and skill level. Apart from honing their dancing skills, we also instill good character traits in our dancers. Our teachers inspire students, teaching them life skills they can carry off the stage.
