This is an intermediate level class recommended for students 8-11 years of age. At least 1 year of prior tap training is required for this class. Tap is an exciting rhythmical dance style that is truly American. While many teachers have tried to imitate the “Earle Cobb” style of tap, this is its only true home. As students progress, they study many different varieties of tap dancing.
Various styles of tap are presented ranging from Broadway style to the more syncopated jazz style of “rhythm tap”.
Tap class is for ages 5-teen is a fun and exciting way to learn rhythm skills and coordination through up beat music.
