DurationThe Tap program at EDS is offered to students of all levels and ages. We concentrate on teaching our dancers the ability to communicate dance through sound. It increases their awareness of rhythm and syncopation.
The program is known for enhancing each student’s ability to combine musicality with performance quality. Steps varying in difficulty are taught progressively through the year, allowing each dancer to master techniques at his/her own pace.
Tap is a fun class anyone can enjoy! From flaps to triple time-steps. Tap dancing is a great way to build rhythm and timing coordination.
Elite Dance Studio opened its doors 53 years ago in Kanata, Ontario offering excellent training to students dancing for recreational enjoyment or later to join our competitive program.
Our 3 air-conditioned studios have raised, sprung Rosco floors for safety and comfort. Our class sizes are limited, offering each student the best individual attention.
Tap is a wonderful style of dance that allows a dancer to create music with their feet. It is the ultimate component in learning about rhythm and timing.
An exciting rhythm based dance form that promotes coordination, musicality and fitness. Classes consist of warm-up, tap barre, tap drills, improvisation and routines.
Tap is a recommended class for all Elite & Unlock Unleash Control PDP students as it makes for a well-rounded & versatile dancer. Â Any student new to tap will be placed in the appropriate level at the discretion of the director.
Tap (Ages 10+) dance classes are offered by Dance Plus EP. At Dance Plus we strive to keep a fun and encouraging atmosphere where students can become the best dancers they can be.
This class offers an exciting introduction to dance for your active three- to six-year-old who would like to give dance a try. Class includes movement and music for boys and girls in pre-ballet and tap.
