Students of tap use cognitive thinking skills along with mental and muscle memory to learn the combinations in rhythm.

This fun class will teach dancers the history of tap as well as time steps, rhythm tap, and combinations of steps and sounds. Tap is more than just making sounds with your feet. It is about expressing yourself, percussively, with your feet and body, making music, and making statements.
This class introduces students to the fundamentals of tap dance. Students will learn tap terminology while working on the embodiment of rhythm, coordination, and musicality. (Suggested attire: comfortable clothing for movement, tap shoes)

This class offers 30 minutes of Jazz followed by 30 minutes of Tap for your young dancer. Dancers are introduced to the foundations of both jazz and tap. Perfect for those that love both styles
