Course Objective

• Advanced AutoCAD Techniques: Explore advanced features and functionalities of AutoCAD, such as parametric constraints, dynamic blocks, layer management, and plotting layouts, to enhance productivity and efficiency in drafting tasks.
• Introduction to BIM Concepts: Understand the principles and benefits of building information modeling (BIM), including centralized data management, parametric modeling, and collaboration capabilities, as well as the role of BIM in the architectural design and construction process.
• REVIT Interface and Navigation: Familiarize yourself with the REVIT interface and navigation tools for creating, editing, and managing BIM models, including views, sheets, schedules, and project browser.
• Creating BIM Models in REVIT: Learn how to create BIM models in REVIT, including architectural elements, structural components, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, using parametric modeling techniques and predefined families.
• Annotation and Documentation: Explore annotation tools and documentation features in REVIT for adding dimensions, text, symbols, and annotations to BIM models, as well as generating construction documentation, schedules, and quantity takeoffs.
