Civic Dance Arts Adult Advanced Beginner Jazz 2B is designed for the advanced beginner wanting to refine their skills further in order to help them move to the next level. Students will focus on executing complex steps with speed as well as working on showmanship. Teacher approval is required.
This class is designed for novice dancers or students who have not danced for many years.
Jazz dance is a true American style. To properly execute jazz dance steps with strength and agility, a firm classical ballet foundation is required. MPAC teaches classical terminology, pulling from classical jazz, Fosse, and funk. Previous Ballet experience is required to register for Jazz.
Jazz Dance Classes are offered by Dance Studio 111 for all ages. Apart from honing their dancing skills, we also instill good character traits in our dancers. Our teachers inspire students, teaching them life skills they can carry off the stage.
Jazz Dance Classes are offered by Kathy Marfin's Dance School. An upbeat technique class focusing on leaps, turns, traveling and transitions steps. *Ballet class will improve the development of the skills in this class.
