The exciting and progressive format of the programme has been developed since 2010, helping enhance every player’s game and life skills, whether they aspire to play at club, county or national level.
We believe that Stony Stratford Lawn Tennis Club is Milton Keynes' best and friendliest tennis club! SSLTC has a smart clubhouse, nine of the best floodlit tennis courts in Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire, a flourishing membership of over 450 children and adults and a busy match and social calendar.
We are also the proud owners of five new artificial grass courts relaid in June 2022, and two artificial clay courts with a winter air dome from November through to March to provide indoor tennis (click to see the Dome in action). We run adult programmes at all of our venues. We love adult players either new to the game, returning to tennis or those that have played for a while looking to gain some new skills.
Our coaching programme is a vital aspect of our thriving tennis club. Our courts are filled, day in day out, with various coaching sessions bringing life and energy to the courts.
The Rusty Racquets coaching sessions are for those that have not played before and want to learn the game or those that have not played in a while and want to start playing tennis again. We also have a Tennis for Beginners course, for those new to tennis.
The Club runs a continuous programme of coaching throughout the year led by our committe member James Byles and Head Coach, Ross Neary.
