By the end of this course, you will have your own hand made pots to take home.
6 x 2.5 hour classes once a week.
The course fee of $465 includes tool use, clay, glazes, and up to 2.5 kg of firing. Additional firing is available for $16.5/kg.
Students are asked to bring a towel or apron to each class, everything else is provided.

In this five-hour studio workshop, students will learn the basic concepts of the construction of a human head using only air-dry clay, modelling wire, some basic tools and their own hands. This workshop is aimed at complete beginners as well as anyone with previous experience.
In this introductory class you will be shown a variety of different hand-building techniques. You will learn how to pinch, coil and join to create basic forms such as a bowl or mug. Once your piece is completed you will select a glaze color of your choice.
