Each student receives two to four one to one lessons each month, and additional training is provided through group workshops and classes.
The LAM is a music school based in Tottenham, North London, an area that has been home to famous music acts such as singer Adele, rapper Wretch 32, saxophonist YolanDa Brown or at a further distance the 80’s band Imagination.
Our doors have just opened and if you want to have a musical experience, we can offer a spectrum of tuitions from Theory Of Music; Voice Training; Dance Training; Music Production; Piano; Saxophone; Guitar; Violin; Accordion; Trumpet; Electric Organ; Bagpipes (Scottish); Harp; Flute.
Located nearby the College Of North East London (CONEL) which gathers the most ethnically diverse population in London, and possibly Europe, with 113 ethnic groups speaking around 193 languages, we pride ourselves for potentially connecting and training a diaspora of people.
Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for our Part Time Courses but you will need to inform the school of your experience.
Students are encouraged to play at the London Academy of Music Festival/Showcase. The Festival/Showcase is a great opportunity for students to build on their confidence and live performance experience.
Courses include frequent participation in group workshops and rhythm workshops
Piano classes are offered by Leicester Music Lessons.We encourage our students to participate in concerts held throughout the year to build confidence & provide a supportive environment to showcase progress
Piano classes are offered by First Chord Music School. Lessons are tailored to students interests and musical ambitions. We make sure to blend this with music theory and technique.
Learn to play the piano, we welcome all levels, complete beginners to advanced. We teach children and adults a whole range of styles, and we even offer piano exams too.
In our face to face piano lessons there are two students per class of similar level. Each Term consists of 10 thirty minutes weekly lessons. All of our teachers are experienced and DBS Certified. Our teachers maintain an attitude of constant encouragement and dedication to each and every student.
So, you’re interested in learning to play the piano and are thinking about having lessons, or maybe you already play and are looking to continue lessons with a different teacher. Whatever the reason you’re here, I’d love to share my passion for the piano with you and help you.
