Each student receives two to four one to one lessons each month, and additional training is provided through group workshops and classes.
The LAM is a music school based in Tottenham, North London, an area that has been home to famous music acts such as singer Adele, rapper Wretch 32, saxophonist YolanDa Brown or at a further distance the 80’s band Imagination.

Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for our Part Time Courses but you will need to inform the school of your experience.
Students are encouraged to play at the London Academy of Music Festival/Showcase. The Festival/Showcase is a great opportunity for students to build on their confidence and live performance experience.
Courses include frequent participation in group workshops and rhythm workshops
The desire to create music is a natural urge and for many the piano is an obvious choice of instrument. Capable of producing beautiful sounds, it fits across virtually all genres. Producing delicate, single-note melody lines or rich, polyphonic textures.
Piano is the most popular instrument taught at the Centre. Piano are taught to students from the age of five.
