Each student receives two to four one to one lessons each month, and additional training is provided through group workshops and classes.
The LAM is a music school based in Tottenham, North London, an area that has been home to famous music acts such as singer Adele, rapper Wretch 32, saxophonist YolanDa Brown or at a further distance the 80’s band Imagination.

Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for our Part Time Courses but you will need to inform the school of your experience.
Students are encouraged to play at the London Academy of Music Festival/Showcase. The Festival/Showcase is a great opportunity for students to build on their confidence and live performance experience.
Courses include frequent participation in group workshops and rhythm workshops
Saxophone lessons are very popular, and can be a rewarding and meaningful development in your musical journey. Whether your interest in Classical, Jazz, Pop or Scottish Folk Music we cater for it all.
The saxophone is one of the newest orchestral instruments, developed in 1846 by Mr Adolphe Sax. It is made of brass and is popular in jazz and military bands.
Saxophone classes are offered by Ric Wood. Ric prides himself on his teaching and provides one to one professional music tuition either in your own home or in his home music studio .
