Kids learn how to play with their food and how fun it is to make healthy eating choices. Kids meet their local farmers and see where their food comes from.
Kidz Dig- Its monthly cooking classes focus on recipes that kids can make themselves using local produce and healthy meats and grains. This gives them healthy alternatives for afternoon snacks. Recipes are available and we encourage parents to keep ingredients in the house that give your child the choice to cook instead of reaching for processed chips and cookies.

Father’s Day Kiwanis Brunch- Play the “What the Heck is it Game” with Dad and Grandpa (old home and ranch
tools guessing game), prizes.

About Us
Come check out the C5 Youth Hub located at the Clareview Recreation Centre (entrance 3). We run several programs to keep youth busy after school and during summer and winter breaks.
Participants will learn kitchen and knife safety and nutrition education Participants will sample all the food we made in class, then take home their own creations to share with the family.
Our classes combine fun and learning through an interactive, team approach. Junior chefs will enjoy a hands-on experience to learn new recipes, cuisines and techniques, in a social and welcoming environment.
We provide the ingredients and directions; you just bring your appetite. Classes will be private for the exclusive use of Autism Ontario.
Children, accompanied by our professional chefs, trained in supervising children, discover cooking from A to Z. Our activities are 100% practical!
