Everyone can be enterprising in all aspects of life. We believe that being enterprising is actually the key to success!! But, how do you get started? How much funding is available from the University to explore an idea? Can I hear entrepreneurs share their business building stories?
This session is open to all students, graduates and staff but this would particularly appeal to those keen to build enterprising skills or would like to start developing a business idea.

Thinking of starting up your own business and want to sharpen those essential business skills? Business Enterprise courses are designed to do just that, teaching you the basics of running a business, market products and services, and manage your personal finances.
The Sustainable Entrepreneurship Programme is an immersive 2-day programme plus 1-1 support to develop skills for sustainable enterprise, held in the One Elmwood in on the 20th March and 20th May 2024.
Alongside talent, artists, designers, image makers and creative professionals have prospered through a variety of means. Many skills need to be enhanced or acquired to become a successful practitioner or build a business within the creative industries.
