This course is for individuals who are/will be involved in the movement of vehicles. A Traffic Marshal (Banksman) is an operative trained to direct vehicle movement on or around site.
This training ensures that organisations meet their legal requirements and reduce the risk of accidents. The course will raise awareness of the dangers caused when large vehicles reverse and introduce techniques to assist drivers with this manoeuvre.
Course Content
Additional Information
Once the course has been successfully completed, a confirmation letter will be provided stating what has been covered on the course. A certificate and identity card will also be issued. Each candidate will also be issued with a copy of HSE Approved Chapter 8 Hand Signals to retain after the course.
Results
Written confirmation will be provided to the learner at the end of the training event. The certificate and card will take up to 5-7 working days with the exception of express service (available at an additional cost). Should there be any complication in processing the certification, we will endeavour to resolve the matter within 10 working days.

Facilities
Our main training centre and head office is situated in East London. We have three classrooms, two offices, and an all-purpose built IT suite, with disability access to all our rooms. Our training centre facilities include state-of-the-art classrooms, which are modern, clean and comfortable and make the best use of educational computer technology to aid teaching and learning. Within our building, there is a fully equipped communal kitchen, cafe, and disability toilets.
Feedback
We capture and use feedback and course evaluations to drive kaizen (continual improvement) to the training and services we deliver. All feedback, both positive and negative, is used to steer improvements and enhancements in Tec Training programmes and operations.
