Course Content
Upon completion of this course, students will understand the definition of dangerous goods, classifications of dangerous good, subsidiary risks, degrees of danger, security, plans, clearance, measures, tracking, safety marks, documentation, enforcement, penalties, dangerous occurrences.

This program has been developed for all carriers, shippers, receivers and drivers who are responsible for the shipping, receiving and delivery of Dangerous Goods as defined under Transportation of Dangerous Goods legislation.

This course is designed for individuals involved in the transportation, shipping and receiving of dangerous goods in Canada.
This is a 3-4 hour course designed to protect the public during transportion of dangerous goods. This program will help develop a more clear understanding of basic TDG requirements including shippers, handlers and receivers of dangerous goods.
The Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) is regulated within Canada and the TDG Act and Regulations and requires that anyone who handles, offers for transport or transports dangerous goods must be trained.
