This course generally meets the needs of young people who practice an acrobatic sport, such as cheerleading or dance, among others.
The 5 gymnastics clubs in the greater Quebec City region have come together to become the Quebec Performance Gymnastics Club . By joining forces, we offer gymnastics programs adapted to each individual's talent and interest, from initiation to excellence.
Dancers combine dance technique and basic tumbling skills with various hand apparatus including ribbons, balls, scarves, hoops, and ropes. The emphasis is on coordination, flexibility, and grace. Younger dancers interested in this style can try it out in our Mix'n'Match classes!
In level I, students will individually learn or perfect each of the following movements: the side wheel, the round off, the flic-flac, the wheel without hand, the hand jump, the back as well as the front.
Open to school-aged athletes and QCC Center members who want to learn and improve on a competition-compliant surface with experienced coaches. Our specialized equipment allows students to learn tumbling techniques in a safe environment.
