Athletes will learn and understand the difference between standing and running tumbling.
Athletes will learn and understand the difference between standing and running tumbling. Emphasis will be placed on the correct tumbling technique, over an athletes ability to quickly try and complete a tumbling skill by themselves.
We do this to encourage safe tumbling and progression. Athletes will be challenged to progress in the tumbles they can already do by putting them to counts.
This will mean attempting to do tumbles at a faster pace, to match the pace of routine music.
Group & individual tumbles will be put into a short routine section, to mimic what tumbling sections look like in a full routine.
