Mrs.Veenu Rai Dhanda's first love has always been cooking. She was just nine years old when she made her first caramel custard pudding. Having married into a family of food lovers, she was able to take her interest further.
Her mother in law, Mrs.Shanta Rai Dhanda was an excellent cook herself who encouraged and supported her passion, which eventually led to the establishment of Cook'n’Style in 1990.
Since then Mrs. Veenu Rai Dhanda has taught more than 30000 students.Over the last 30 years, the institute has established itself as a preferred destination for girls and housewives to master the culinary art.
Miss Arsheya Rai Dhanda, daughter of Mrs. Dhanda has followed her footsteps. Baking has been her passion since childhood. She has won various prizes to name a few Sanjeev Kapoor India's famous chef held a competition in Ludhiana.
She was chosen among the first 20 out of 500 contestants for making a brownie at a young age of 9 years. he interviewed her as his youngest contestant and it was all over the media internationally as well.
At the age of 13, Washington Apple held a cooking competition in Ludhiana which was judged by Mr Sanjeev Kapoor. She won a prize for making a fresh apple cake. Here again she was the youngest contestant.
She followed her passion and graduated with a "DIPLÔME DE PÂTISSERIE" from the world's best school "LE CORDON BLEU, LONDON" which is a state of the art french school and is recognized globally as one of the most respected culinary qualification in pastry and baking.
Cookery classes & short-term courses are conducted from time to time, from April to September every year. Short courses covering 600 preparations include preparation of cakes, desserts, salads, snacks, starters, soups and mocktails, and a range of cuisines including Indian (Mughlai, North and South Indian) Continental (English, Italian, French, Spanish) Oriental (Chinese, Thai, Japanese) Mexican and Arabic etc.
The class duration is for 2:30 to 3 hours with 3-5 dishes being taught everyday.
Sabz-E-Bahar Cooking class is offered by Nira's Cuisine. Learn those small techniques and tips applied by the great chefs and get the same taste at your fingertips. Mingle yourself to get your cooking talent to get even better.
The course purely teaches the Indian veg specilaities that includes both starters as well as the main course.
Chinese Rice/Noodles cooking class is offered by Vaishalis Cookery Classes. Learn the art of exotic cooking with very easy to follow cooking methods with exact measurements of ingredients with detailed notes.
