A quintessentially British teatime bake! Completely hands on, you’ll make a delicious, moist sponge completely before filling it with fresh cream and your own homemade strawberry jam.
DurationStudents will work together in teams of two to produce their sponges, sharing a stand mixer and also making their strawberry jam in couples. Each guest will fill their finished cakes individually.
A sociable class for an aspiring baker working with other like-minded people, but also great fun for more confident bakers to enjoy together, so perhaps bring along your friends for your own mini Bake Off!
This class runs during the British strawberry season only, to get the best quality fruit and therefore the most delicious jam!
