DurationThe repertoire of our students is made up of 70% of the pieces of their choice. In addition, they are encouraged to explore different repertoires in order to enrich their sensory experience, their musical skills and their knowledge.

Founded in October 1987, the Pianissimo Music School in Sherbrooke takes your pleasure of learning seriously.

These lessons are just as effective as in-person lessons, and I love having a direct connection online to my students to share sheet music, give feedback on recordings of themselves that they send me, and write out clear practicing/lesson notes to email
With both traditional music-reading and Suzuki methods available for all strings instruments, our program provides a comprehensive learning environment.
Students can study a wide range of musical genres from classical and popular, to traditional fiddle music
Our string instructors will teach all styles of music, from learning to play by ear to reading music
Violin lessons can begin for students as young as five years old, Cello or Viola at seven years old. We also have Double Bass lessons available. Lessons for Adults available.
