Felicity has been teaching since 2005. She is a Suzuki-trained teacher and has completed numerous teacher training courses in New Zealand and Australia.
She has performed in the U.S.A. and Australia, with the largest audience being more than 2,500. She now shares her love of music through teaching.
The Fab Music Studio operates in Tawa, Wellington. We also run some classes from Churton Park. Felicity, director and lead teacher is a highly trained Suzuki cello and piano teacher who has been teaching since 2005. From a musical family, Felicity has been surrounded by music for her whole life. She now shares the joy of music with others through teaching.
Felicity is a graduate of the New Zealand School of Music and plays with many different music groups in the Wellington area. She is Suzuki teacher-trained, and loves to share her enthusiasm for music with all ages. Her youngest student is three years and eldest is sixty-something!
The violin is the heart and soul of the orchestra. It is the smallest of the stringed instruments, and therefore one of the instruments we recommend for young learners. Children can begin learning from age 5.
Violin classes are offered by Whangarei Youth Music. Good communication and input from the student is important to an enjoyable experience.Â
We provide group lessons to children 5-12 years of age and private tuition for the advancing student 13 years and older.
Exams for instruments are available at the student's request, however at Excite Academy our focus is on learning to not only play, but perform.
Violin lessons are offered by Frank's Music School. In his own teaching, Frank’s focus is on CCM Voice Coaching (Contemporary Commercial Music); Contemporary Guitar/Bass Tutoring & Pop, Rock and Jazz Band Training.
