Course Details

Violin is the most inspiring instrument. One-on-one tuition only is offered for adults and children.

For centuries, the learning of a music instrument has only been taught one-on-one. This is not only for beginners but also for intermediate and advanced instrumentalists. Children who play violin in school orchestras or who receive group tuition at school often receive private violin tuition as well.

Group tuition is a poor substitute for learning a music instrument. It may be cheaper, but you will find the short term and long term value will be wanting; and it will cost more in the long run at the expense of the child’s learning experience, music education and love for the instrument.

Only with individual tuition is a child able to learn to play the violin in tune, to hear sounds clearly and correct their pitch. Then they are able to fully love their playing and progress to their full potential. Learning to love violin is learning how to play in tune as well as applying all the expressive nuances of bowing.
