Families have the option of choosing between Suzuki or O'Connor methods, which initially focus on learning by ear, or traditional lessons that incorporate reading music.
They are taught by experienced teachers who are highly trained professional musicians. About once a month students have the opportunity to take part in group lessons to learn how to play in a group.
Our teachers believe that all children are musical and can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat and participate in the music of our culture, provided their early environment supports such learning.
Merry Music Makers offers research-based curriculum, so we know our stuff. But getting silly and engaging our students is part of our secret sauce!
Our Mission:
As a community of music makers, we aim to bring more joy into the world by making it more musical one family at a time. We do this by providing the highest-quality early childhood music and movement education to children and their caregivers.
Our violin lessons are offered for children and adults. We have several violin instructors on staff, so you can get few try-outs to get a violin teacher that you really like
Begin learning the foundations of music (steady beat, rhythm, note reading) from day 1 so they are prepared to learn any musical genre they desire.
This class provides an excellent introduction to the study of the violin in a supportive group class setting
The most effective way to learn to play an instrument is through private lessons. One-on-one instruction allows the teacher to maximize the potential of each student
Violin Lessons are offered by Music Center of the Northwest
