There comes a time in everyone’s life when they ask themselves the most profound personal question , which is : “ what is my purpose in this life? . What is the one thing that I can do with all my accumulated strengths, talents and resources to make the biggest positive impact on the world around me? That is the question which spawned the birth of U.S. Music Lessons.
Founder Vince Hanvey , accomplished guitarist, performer and guitar teacher knew deep down that music was a life changing, life saving force. It changed people, brought people together, was the soundtrack of our celebrations and the ultimate expression of our dreams.
It was a healing force, a super charged mental exercise that could strengthen our mental-faculties. Music could make a huge difference in a child’s life and it was those revelations that made him devote his time to creating a music school that would accomplish those goals .
From its inception in 2012 U.S. Music Lessons has existed to fulfill the purpose of bringing a holistic approach to music lessons, not just the music lessons, but the application of the skill and attitudes that a music student could bring to their everyday life through music .
But more importantly, the very real and exciting benefits that a musician can give back to the community around the them. Through our community outreach efforts and a dedication to a vibrant, fun teaching environment, we strive to give our students the most complete music learning experience available !
Before you join our musical family, we would encourage you to consider all the reasons why you want to take music lessons and your true reasons for wanting to get involved and remember, we are here for one primary purpose and that is: To teach our students how to play music as well as respect and contribute to our community with music.
Come join us!

For centuries, string sections have brought masterpieces from the great composers to life. Modern orchestras pack orchestra halls to celebrate everything from Bach to Tchaikovsky while also providing soundtracks to Broadway musicals and motion pictures
At Tempo School of Music, we offer violin lessons for young beginners and adults of ages and skill levels. Learn how to play the violin and the music you love with our private violin teachers
The Suzuki Method is based on the philosophy that music may be learned by young students in much the same way language is. Just as infants learn to speak by hearing and imitating their parents, young children learn music by being immersed in sounds and songs
