Vocal coaching is offered at the Academy, tailored to age, vocal development and personal goals. You will study vocal technique and pedagogy, ear training, repertoire selection, breathing and performance practice.

Students will learn singing methods such as blending tone, acapella singing, coordinated diction and following a conductor. Basic music theory will be taught through the incorporation of harmonic singing and sight reading.
Should you be interested in preparing for your Royal Conservatory of Music Exams, preparations and music theory tutorials can also be available upon request.
Upon recommendation by your coach, you may be invited to compete at local music competitions. The Academy’s Vocal Department is award-winning in the Lower Mainland.
Our vocalists have won titles at the BC Provincials and are training in institutes such as UBC’s Opera Department, the University of Lethbridge Voice Department, the University of Toronto’s Opera Department and are singing at theatres and on stages across the globe from as close to home as Vancouver to as far off as Italy.

Voice classes is offered by Saskatoon Conservatory Of Music Private lessons for children from 6 years of age. A choir may be formed after 6 months of lessons if participants have interest.
Voice lessons are offered by CW Music. Our students are comprised of all skill levels and ages, several of whom have started lessons in their formative years and are now young adults.
