The main aim of the iTEC level 3 Diploma in Body and Facial Electrical Treatments is to enable learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide these treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the Spa and Beauty Therapy Industry.
This qualification will enable learners to gain employment as a full beauty therapist in a salon, clinic, spa or medi spa upon successful achievement. The VTCT (iTEC) Level 3 Diploma in Body and Facial Electrical Treatments is a fully accredited and recognised qualification. It is regulated by OFQUAL and it is a fully insurable qualification.

Younique Aesthetics Academy is a medical led training institute suitable for learners wishing to develop their skills in the clinical aesthetic sector. With branches in both Newry and Belfast our academy offers regulated qualifications from internationally recognised examination bodies.
These can be studied from our bespoke platform which allows learners to complete the theoretical element from the comfort of their own home. Learners can complete their practical tuition in small groups at either of our centres ensuring that they receive the best individual, clinical guidance.
The Academy is led by the Clinical Director of Younique Aesthetics, Aine Larkin (RGN, INP, ALNP, MSc, PGDip). Aine is an advanced level nurse practitioner who has many years of experience in beauty and education, and has spent the last number of years growing the medical aesthetic sector within Northern Ireland.
As well as this, Aine is also a member of several industry regulatory bodies including JCCP, who are currently advising the government on legislation to improve the safety and standards of the cosmetic industry.
The skin needling creates a multitude of tiny puncture wounds to the dermis which induces the release of growth factors that stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin.
On this course you will gain the knowledge to be able to safely carry out skin rejuvenation procedures to clients and help improve the quality of their skin using either a hand held roller or the Dermapen which has tiny pin prick needles which is used to pierce the skin.
Our beginners course in Anti-Wrinkle and Dermal Filler is for nurses, midwives, doctors, dentists and pharmacists (prescribers and non-prescribers) with no previous aesthetic injecting experience.
Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive, painless low risk skin resurfacing treatment that gently exfoliates or polishes away the top layer of dead skin cells.
Hydrofacial course is offered by Olivia's Academy. All courses provide a wide range of advice including client consultation, troubleshooting help, aftercare advice, hygiene tips and health and safety information.
