You will bring along your own fabrics for this workshop, and make this simple to make, but yet effective draped coat. It is advisable that you have attended our Intro to sewing workshop beforehand or have used a sewing machine before. Or you may find this workshop too difficult and may fall behind.

This series of classes is for those new to knitting socks as well as those who would like to learn how to knit in the round using double pointed needles (dpns). Over the four weeks, we’ll practise the important components of knitting socks from the top (cuff) down including knitting.
Explore 3-Dimensional Stumpwork stitchery, to create exciting off-the-surface wired, padded and embellished embroideries with applications to fashion, interiors, storytelling and art textiles
Enjoy an evening making 2 lanterns using your choice from a great range of fabrics. You will take away your 2 lanterns at the end of the workshop all ready to display and use in your home or garden. (Please note these are for battery operated tea lights only).
