Our spacious and well-equipped school is based in Denmead, a small village near Waterlooville in Hampshire, just 5 minutes from Junction 3 of the A3M. We have ample free parking and we are about one hour from Heathrow and Gatwick airports. To view our location, please view our contact page.
We have a maximum of 6 students (no more than 4 on some courses) to ensure you get individual attention. Our aim at The Southern School of Beauty Therapy is to ensure that you really enjoy your learning experience with us, and when you leave at the end of the day, you should feel confident to start practising your new skills.
Occasionally we are unable to issue a certificate. If this does happen then you are welcome back on the next course with no extra charge to watch the demo and have another go at the practical.

We offer a full back-up service, so that if you should have any problems at any time after completing your course, you may always contact us for help and advice.
The Waxing Course is delivered by Celebrity Beautician and Educator Sarah Evans giving students the most complete introduction to waxing treatments and provide them with the best tools to start being a wax therapist.
This warm and hot wax combination training course is for beginners and existing technicians wanting to improve their skills. This is a one- day training course (with home study) and requires no previous experience.
During the course, you will learn the proper techniques for preparing the skin for waxing, applying the wax, and removing the wax. You will also learn how to use hot wax such as hard wax and soft and warm wax, to achieve the best results for your clients.
This waxing course will teach you the basics of some of the most popular treatments in the beauty salon. You will learn how to use warm wax and hot wax safely and professionally to remove unwanted hair from feet, legs, basic bikini, underarms, face and nose.
