Austin Community College offers two different classes, both of which transfer to our Welding Technology credit department as technical electives.
The Welding CE Certificate consist of two (2) required course sections, taken in the following order:
WLDG-1000 Introduction to Welding
WLDG-1043 Intermediate Arc Welding
Our first course (WLDG-1000) introduces you to oxyacetylene and arc welding techniques. Safety is an important focus of this class. Our second course (WLDG-1043) focuses on MIG, TIG, and flux-cored welding processes. It is required that you complete WLDG-1000, or obtain instructor approval to take this course.

Welding Safety training is offered by European Health and Safety Agency. Professional Training and learning are the best way to acquire professional knowledge, develop intellectual skills, raise competence, and develop capabilities.
Welding Safety training is offered by Safety Dynamics Group. Crescent Safety Services offers OSHA approved training courses to satisfy your training requirements.
Welding and Cutting Safety and hot work safety training course is offered by Hyperion Safety Services. Hyperion offers comprehensive assessment tools consisting of  multi-level technical training modules designed to improve personnel skills and knowledge levels.
Welding Safety (Steel Erection) training course is offered by KSV Group. Our Training services provide customized, performance-based solutions that assist clients reduce risks, liabilities, and costs associated with injuries and illnesses.
Welding and Cutting Safety training is offered by AGC Colorado. The AGC Safety Council provides a forum for the training of current safety and health issues affecting the construction industry.
