Course Details

Introduction to wheel throwing is suitable for beginners who have an interest in wheel-thrown work, no previous experience is necessary.

The class will focus on developing the basic techniques of wheel throwing: centering clay, throwing tall cylinders, cups, bowls, turning and basic glazing.

The fee includes the glazing and firing of the pottery pieces you produce in class. This ten week course is delivered face-to-face by experienced potter Olivia Azzopardi. 

This short course is non-accredited therefore is not registered with the National Training Register.
