Who says you cannot have camp in the Winter? Over the school holidays at Dream BIG Day Camp we’ll be doing some pretty cool stuff…art, basketball, “Coolinary”, dodgeball, karate, soccer, yoga and more! And if it snows, we’ll head out with our sleds and snowman making fun.

We can run the entire program indoors but we like to get some fresh air if the temps are not too frigid. All campers should come dressed warmly and bring shorts, sneakers, water bottle and lunch.
Dream BIG Day Camp’s outstanding staff will be on hand to make sure the campers are properly cared for and have tons of fun. It’s just one big Winter Wonderland!

Dream Big Day Camp
provides 1 staff member to every 9 campers at every age group. For every group of 18 campers we will have at least 3 core staff members. We hire mature college aged staff (and older) to maintain proper support and attention for our campers so EVERY child feels included and valued. Our secret sauce lies in our ongoing staff training, evaluation process and goal setting.
Winter Camp is offered by Steve & Kate's Camp. Look around our camp, and you’ll see kids absorbed in designing, building, creating, playing, eating, and clowning. One of the reasons they’re so happy and engaged is because they’ve chosen their activities and planned their days themselves.

The Deering Estate offers a winter break camp, which aligns with Miami Dade County School’s scheduled winter break. Every camp has a different theme and explores a different aspect of nature, allowing campers to have fun while also learning about different fields of science.
These hands-on programs allow campers to visit animals on grounds, explore biofacts, and take part in science experiments and demonstrations.
